Please join us for Torah study at 9:15 in the Upper Sanctuary tomorrow morning. At 10:30, all are invited to the morning service when David Raker will be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah.

On Sunday, we invite you to learn about lobbying and the legislative process by attending our Issues & Advocacy Workshop from 1 – 4. You will find details in our Shabbat flyer and in your weekly email digest.

The Jewish and Christian Dialogue will present two fascinating events next Wednesday and Thursday, November 14 – 15 at 7 PM. Wednesday’s program will be at St. John’s Methodist – the church at the corner of Barcelona and Old Pecos Trail. Thursday’s program will be here at TBS. Rabbi Isaac (Yitz) Greenberg and Larry Rasmussen will talk on “The New Encounter between Judaism and Christianity” and on creating a religious ethic of power. Please pick up a flyer in the lobby and don’t miss these important presentations.

You can tell that our brick campaign is now in full swing by checking out Joan Shandler’s hat. She will be happy to sell you a new brick at any time between now and January. Brick forms are available in the lobby.

TBS is collecting kid’s coats for ¡ADELANTE! We need children's winter jackets, in all sizes, but especially sizes 5 through 12. We urge you to clean out your closets and/or buy winter jackets to donate. Please make sure that any used coats you donate are clean, unstained and without holes. Collection boxes can be found under the coat rack.

I am happy to report that Nahum Ward-Lev is making excellent progress and has been moved to the rehab facility at St. Vincent’s. He is not yet ready for visitors however, so please limit your contact to get well cards for the moment.
