ABOUT
Temple Beth Shalom is a welcoming Jewish home built on acceptance and love. We bring a positive, spiritual approach to everything we do. From the way we care about each other’s lives to our social justice activism in and around Santa Fe, we celebrate differences and inspire love. Our services and educational programs feed curiosity, create ritual and unlock our own faith and beliefs so that we feel connected to ourselves, God and each other.
Rabbi Neil
Known for his soaring sermons, Rabbi Neil came to us in 2014 after nearly ten years as the principal rabbi of Bournemouth Reform Synagogue in England. A transformational leader in the
interfaith community, he is a social justice advocate instrumental in organizing the 1500-person Rally Against Racism in the Santa Fe Plaza in the summer of 2017 and works tirelessly to protect those at risk in our community, and our fragile environment.
Cantor Lianna
A new light in our community, Cantor Lianna fills our sanctuary with beautiful music, gives her energy and love to our preschool families, and guides our B’nei Mitzvah students and religious
school students with compassion and support. A native of Rochester, New York, she is passionate about her role as a Cantor-Educator because it connects to all of the things she loves: teaching, learning, studying history, language, singing, and building relationships with people.
