Thank you for your interest in Temple Beth Shalom. We hope that you will want to be part of our unique, active and vital congregation. Please rest assured that no one is ever turned away from membership for financial reasons. Dues adjustments are freely granted upon request.
TBS is truly a welcoming Reform congregation and diversity is our middle name: our community is composed of retirees and newlyweds, families and singles, and every other “unit” you can imagine. Some of our members are New Mexico natives, some got here yesterday, all are welcome. We encourage our members to participate in all we do, not as a guest in a stranger’s house, but as a family – comfortable, familiar and loving.
We are not only a house of prayer: our goal is much bigger. We believe in the potential of every human being to grow and change and thus we offer interfaith activities, advocate social justice causes, promote education in its broadest and most inclusive sense, and deliver services that enliven the spirit and enlighten the mind. Membership in Temple Beth Shalom is an expression of your support for all of this and more; it strengthens and enriches our entire community.
