Library Committee 2024

The congregation’s carefully curated collection of books on all aspects of
Jewish life and Judaism is open to every member of the TBS community.

Located on the right side of the sanctuary lobby, the library is open during all times
TBS is open. If the sanctuary building is locked when you come, please go to the
TBS office, and they will open the building for you. When you find a book you want
to borrow, check it out using the self-checkout system – instructions are in the book
rack on the wall just outside the library entrance.

The Library Committee is working to make our library more useful to all community
members. The committee currently meets weekly between 10 AM and noon on
Wednesday and welcomes new members. Join us by emailing below!

Please consider donating your Jewish-content books in good condition to the
library, especially books published since the year 2000. If we already have a
particular book or if it does not fit with our collecting guidelines, we will add it to
our book sale table in the sanctuary lobby, which helps fund the library. For security
reasons, take donated books to the TBS office during office hours. Please do not
leave them in the library or outside the office or sanctuary.

Finally, we ask you to consider the Library when making monetary donations to TBS
for appreciation, congratulations, and memorial.

This is your Jewish library! Please let us know if you have any ideas for library
services and events or if we can help you in any way to use the collection.
